The work on it. I would recommend changing out the silicone hose and installing a rubber hose. Silicone permeates coolant. While it handles higher temperatures and pressure it is not a good alternative to rubber for a daily driven car. If you insist on keeping it then keep an eye on your coolant. I recently changed out all my coolant silicone hoses and went back to stock rubber hoses since my coolant level kept dropping. I pressure tested the system and had no leaks. Changed the hoses and do not have any more issues with the coolant level dropping.
